Our teachers and students held the Chinese culture exhibition in Czech

From 5th to 20th, April, hosted by the Czech Cooperation and Exchange Center, Chinese culture exhibition sponsored by North China University of Technology was held successfully in our friendly college Vysoka skola technicka a ekonomicka v Ceskych Budejovicich. Chinese ambassador in Czech Republic Ms. Ma Keqing attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition accompanied by president Marek Vochozka of Vysoka skola technicka a ekonomicka v Ceskych Budejovicich and president Jan Kohout of Prague New Silk Road college.


The exhibition curator and overall designer DIO Theodore Pokorny was our first graduate student of architecture major taught in English, and he studied in our school from 2012 to 2015. 11 exhibition panels of Chinese architectural culture were jointly designed by our teacher from School of Architecture and Art Wang Biao and three students Mu Sida, Mu Haoke, Tan Qingwen from Landscape Architecture and Landscape Architecture Design Department. The content included civil housing architecture, landscape architecture, sacrifice architecture, Buddhism architecture, Taoism architecture, etc and demonstrated in an all-round way the essences and achievements of Chinese traditional architecture and modern architecture to the Czech people.
The exhibition received ?high praises from the audiences, and our design team also won the honorary certificate awarded by the organizers.
